The drawing of blue beard's dead wives hanging on the wall with blood all over the floor made me decide to return this book. I bought it to use with my children who are learning French, but I will have to find some other resources. Too bad, because other than that, the book seemed very high quality. It's one thing to hear a gory fairytale, a whole other thing to see the pictures.
J'ai revisité Barbe Bleue de mon enfance avec de la fraicheur et de la couleur dans les dessins et avec la même émotion dans le texte.
I bought it for a project I had to do so my heart was not really in the story. However, the photos were excellent for a fairy tale. It worked well for my project.
